This page highlights the library-related resources I have employed and services I have performed.

The foundation courses that I took early on in my graduate studies provided me with the background knowledge needed to complete a project I am very proud of. The Lexington Log Cabins and Heritage Society asked me to catalog their Texas History collection. I was able to use the skills and techniques that I learned in my Collection Organization class and Information Services and Resources class to complete the project. I applied basic cataloging rules and used a variety of reference tools including automated databases to provide the Log Cabins and Heritage Society with 250+ catalogued books and a database of titles, call numbers, authors, book descriptions, and summaries.

Below is a link to an audio/video (avi file) clip describing my efforts to organize a resource library for the Lexington Log Cabins Heritage Center.  The file is large; I recommend downloading before viewing unless your internet connection is particularly fast.
