I teach 5th grade Language and Social Studies classes.

Qualifications

I am certified by the State of Texas to teach grades K-8.

I have training in library-related technology. I use multimedia software such as Powerpoint and Inspiration on a regular basis and I have experience working with a variety of automation systems such as Follett and CASPR.

I have surveyed classic and contemporary works for children of all ages. The bulk of my literature experience includes young adult and children's literature. In addition, I have examined a number of banned and challenged books.

I am a member of member of the board of trustees of Lexington United Methodist Church.
